About Us

Participating in the PTA is a way to help not only your child, but all children receive a better education. More than 30 years of research has proven that children do better when their parents are involved both at home and at school.

We invite you to participate in the Gayhead PTA by becoming a member, volunteering to work on a committee, or signing up for a task that you could perform at home. Joining the PTA does not commit you to attending events or meetings - it means that you stand with 6 million parents and concerned adults to promote the welfare of all children.

Wellness - a program focused on building healthy eating and exercise habits.

Yearbook - a publication of class and candid photos to capture special elementary school memories.

Staff Appreciation - a week long formal recognition of school staff.

Teacher Grants - allocation of funds to teachers for creative instructional ideas.
