WHO WE ARE: The PTA (Parent-Teacher Association) is a partnership between our parents, teachers, administrators, and staff who work together to make Gayhead Elementary School an extra special community. Our goal each year is to provide enrichment programs and activities for our students as well as support for our teachers, administration and staff. It is so important to have both parents and teachers involved to help further our children’s academic and social growth over the course of their seven years here at Gayhead.

WHAT WE DO: The PTA is responsible for all of the amazing programs, assemblies, field trips and more that our children get to enjoy. The 6th Grade Musical, the Kindergarten Meet and Greet, the School Store, Yearbook, School Pictures, Field Trips for all grades… these and much more are all provided by our hard-working PTA.

DID YOU KNOW: While we can always use volunteers for all of these events and programs, becoming a member of the PTA doesn’t mean you have to volunteer for anything! It simply shows you support your students, staff, teachers and administration by your kind participation in becoming a member. Volunteering is not a requirement and you will not be contacted unless you decide you would like to help with any specific event.
